Although it invests in renewable generation assets, Alinta receives a low score because its parent company Chow Tai Fook Enterprises owns several power stations and is planning to burn coal until 2047. It's Australia's 7th largest climate polluter.
Alinta has made a public commitment towards generating 1,500MW of renewable energy by 2025, with 860MW generated.
